I am Jessica Johnson, a business professional who combines communications, customer service, and common sense to address my clients' safety and security challenges. I lead the AMAZING team at Johnson Security Bureau, Inc., where, for over 60 years, my family has protected people, places, and valuable property. Every day, respected corporations entrust their valuable assets to me and my team. Additionally, our team builds our people and our communities. #WeBuildTheBronx

With over 30 years of experience in global business development, I am a passionate and visionary leader who helps organizations scale to new levels of growth and innovation. I have a proven track record of executing successful sales and marketing campaigns, developing strategic partnerships, and raising capital across diverse and competitive industries, such as enterprise software, MedTech, FinTech, and mining.
I am also an entrepreneur and an investor who has founded, grown, and exited several ventures, raising over $40M from global institutional investors and signing over $15M in joint-venture deals. I hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Washington, where I mentor minority-owned businesses as part of the Ascend national program.

I have built, transformed, and protected companies such as SecurityScorecard, ASCAP, Marvel, AQR Capital, ING Bank, Rabobank, CME Group, Sony, Macy's as well as European banks and airlines. Nominated in 2020 to the World Economic Forum as a technology pioneer, I provide thought leadership on cyber resilience in the oil and gas industry as well as quantum security working groups.
A graduate of Stanford University and author of a book for Cisco Press in 2002, I am a featured speaker at technology conferences for Black Hat, Gartner, GovWare, and SANS and am a professor at NYU teaching cybersecurity courses. An avid jazz fan and musician, I am also on the board of trustees for the National Jazz Museum in Harlem and an advisor to several startups.
